New standard grade American walnut semi-finished (needs final fitting to the gun, sanded and a finish put on. The original model 870 guns use an 8" drawbolt which these stocks are made for, if you have a newer gun that has a longer drawbolt a spacer will be needed or you will need to purchase the Remington 8" drawbolt.
